Prev Poem. Next Poem. I love you more than the words on paper can express. I can't live my life without you. You're my beautiful angel that keeps me looking up. You keep me from drowning. I live, breathe, and

Sometimes it's hard to keep a brave face, whilst writing this to release, I've never once forgotten how lucky I am and no matter what life throws at me, I am so lucky to have special people in my life who make the emotions I am going through a little less scary and a little more bareable. I can feel the sadness in your beautiful words and I love where you take your poem and bring it to life. Giving life more meaning. Things do get better with time I can remember my own life when I was so deeply unhappy for many reasons. But I also see your strength and courage which heightens your poem and shows you are strong and persistent and all the beauty you see in life through your eyes. Alone ¦ Spoken Word Poetry

The thing that I crave for money cannot buy For with it I know life I would really enjoy I want to be happy and of all cares free But when I look in my mirror a sad face I see. I want to be happy and laugh my cares away And wake in the morning and welcome the day And feel light and easy like a windblown leaf And laugh and be merry for life is so brief. Why do we crave things such as wealth and renown This ego of mine it keeps dragging me down And too much of ego is not a good thing Though of egotistical people we sing. We are pre-occupied with our own self esteem And we only live for our own selves and our blood kin 'twould seem A truly happy person would see life differently And if you know such a person of that person tell me. I want to be happy and free of all care And my gift of happiness with others I'd share But that money cannot buy happiness is only too true And that applies to all people and to me and you.

Next Poem. I live with depravity, Pressure like gravity. Why can't they just see I want to live happily? Surrounded by poverty, The cravings of obesity, Those dreams of reality. Why can't they just see I want to be all I can be?
